On Monday was the premiere of our most highly anticipated novela, El Talisman, the second collaboration by Venevisión Productions and Univisión. Produced completely in high definition (HD), El Talisman includes a first class cast and production team, and is expected to have full-blown success, as was seen by its predecessor Eva Luna which also broke various network and broadcasting records.
The El Talismán premiere brought in over 5 million viewers, and more than 40 million Twitter impressions, helping boost Univisión to the overall #2 rating of all broadcast networks in its time slot.
With the 2010 census numbers showing the ever-increasing strength in the US Hispanic population, advertisers have been working feverishly to find a way to delve into the Hispanic market. We are excited to have partnered with Chevrolet on El Talisman for an innovative product integration campaign. Within the context of the show, Chevy vehicles will be highlighted – almost to the point of having a “co-starring role.” The Chevy vehicles will not be limited to the television screen, however, and will play an important role in the interactive marketing taking place across multiple platforms (including one truck that will have its own website!).
